Playtesting

Who is eligible to join? 

All players over the age of 18 are welcome to join regardless of skill level or experience. Additionally, play testers and immediate family members must not be currently employed in the video games industry including development, publishing, press and media. Content creators, influencers, and live streamers are welcome to apply, and will be referred to our Community team to be considered for future content creation opportunities as well. 

What should I expect after I sign up? 

You’ll receive a Welcome email in your inbox with a link to a brief survey to provide additional information. From there, we’ll reach out to you through email again when we’re ready to start playtesting. 

Do I need to sign up for every playtest? 

No, just once is enough! We will host multiple playtests, adding in more players as we continue through development. If you do not hear from us in the first round of invites, you are still in our play tester database and will be considered for additional playtesting and survey opportunities. 

What are the requirements for the playtest? 

Players must be over the age of 18 and have an active Steam and Discord account. Both accounts must be over 30 days old, and Steam accounts must have previously played game activity listed, regardless of genre or length of time played. Our playtests are remote, and additional requirements include a stable internet connection, webcam and microphone. Play testers are responsible for expenses related to playtesting including internet connect, software and hardware requirements. 

I do not play games often, should I still apply? 

Absolutely! If you have an established history of playing games on your Steam account, regardless of time spent in-game, you are considered for playtesting.
